FEBS Letters to launch Communication articles.
FEBS Letters has launched a new article type to foster scientific exchange on recently published papers. Communication articles are short, peer-reviewed articles that expand, contradict or comment on previously published papers.
Communication articles should contain new experimental data that provide a novel perspective to previously published results, possibly indicating caveats and discrepancies, or offering alternative interpretations. Prior discussion with the authors of the primary publication would be desirable.
The first Communication article appeared online on May 14 (Schuhmacher MK et al. Investigation of H2AX methylation by the SUV39H2 protein lysine methyltransferase).
For submissions of Communication articles either use the FEBS Letters manuscript submission site or contact the editorial office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
